The mood of light
I started this project after moving back from Italy. I missed the terracotta roof tops of Florence immensely. My longing led me to paint my new home in reminiscent hues. Having wall to wall and floor to floor windows facing west, the light plays in my home were extremely prevalent. I began to notice the power the light on these colors had over my mood. I decided to capture the change in light quality and the mood that it invoked.
